川北輝初のインスタレーション作品「Flow －龍神－」を国際アートフェア「UNKNOWN ASIA 2025」にて展示します。
【ステートメント】
川北輝はこれまで一貫して、人の感性がテクノロジーによってどのように更新され得るのかを研究してきた。Flow状態を誘発するインタラクションの設計や、感性の中長期的な変化に注目し、その考え方を作品の形や動きに反映させてきた。本展示では、龍そのものを水や波、風、感性といったFlowの象徴として捉え、鑑賞者に流体的な体験をもたらすよう構成した。
アルキメデスの螺旋をモチーフにした龍の造形作品、龍にまつわる諺から人と龍の関係性を伝え共鳴する手水舎、流れそのものを場として表現した鳥居、フラクタル構造を持つ金雲、龍のサイアノタイプ作品など、川北が2025年に取り組んできた「Flow」の多層的な探究をひとつの流域として表現した。数理構造や自然現象、精神的体験がゆるやかに重なり合うアート空間を感じてほしい。

Teru Kawakita has consistently explored how human Kansei (sensibility, 感性) can be renewed through technology. Focusing on the design of interactions that induce states of flow and on the medium- to long-term transformation of Kansei, he has reflected these concepts in the forms, movements, and rhythms of his work. In this exhibition, the dragon is treated as a symbol of Flow—embodying water, wave, wind, and Kansei itself—creating a space that invites viewers into a fluid experiential state.
This exhibition presents a single watershed that brings together Kawakita’s multifaceted explorations of “Flow” in 2025: works of dragons inspired by the Archimedean spiral; a chōzuya that conveys the symbolic relationship between humans and dragons as expressed in traditional sayings; a shrine-like installation that expresses flow as an experiential field; golden cloud forms rooted in fractal structures; cyanotype works depicting dragons; and more. Through these pieces, mathematical structures, natural phenomena, and psychological experience gently overlap within the space.
